Developing a comic strip based off of my kids and my daily experiences with them.
I’ve spent a lot of time watching videos and practicing with Photoshop to get my digital paintings to have the look and feel of wet media. Here’s some progress.
One of my favorite digital paintings.
Here I go again…trying new stuff. I’ve recently gotten myself mixed up in digital painting. I purchased a Wacom tablet and I’m starting to think this might be the world for me. Here is a painting I did of my son using only photoshop. This is the 3rd DP I’ve completed. It’s a medium that is wonderful to use because the clean up is non-existent.
I still have a lot to learn in terms of how to properly apply coloring etc. I’ll keep you posted.
Logo for Church Project
For my church we are working on a Children’s Ministry logo. Since it is the DFW Church, for whom I submitted a logo design for a couple weeks ago, I wanted to keep some consistency. You can find the DFW Church logo on my site under the digital art.
This image is only a draft. If approved, I will update it. I like it enough to post.
A couple members of our church is thinking about re-creating our church logo.
This logo is the best of the samples that I submitted for consideration.
The church is DFW Church. The web address is DFWchurch.net.
The idea is meant to state that the church is part of the city and vice versa. The colors are the basic color theme that we tend to go use. It’s very USA. But I think I did a good job with it so here it is.
